Buckingham Palace
The Changing of the Guard is a must-see on any trip to London. It's a tradition dating back hundreds of years and offers a glimpse of the pomp and pageantry that defines royal London. This guided tour is designed to help you experience the Changing of the Guard to the fullest. Most tourists peek through the railings of Buckingham Palace without really understanding what they're seeing. Join this tour, and we'll ensure you get the best views of the guards and fully understand what you're seeing. In addition to witnessing the Changing of the Guard, the tour also includes visits to The Mall, St. James's Palace/Horse Guards Parade (depending on the day), St. James's Park, and the exterior of Buckingham Palace. There's a reason this is one of our most popular tours!
The Tower of London and the Crown Jewels
The Tower of London is a complex of several fortified buildings in the shape of a pentagon, spanning over 5 hectares on the left bank of the Thames, with an outer and an inner courtyard. Its core was built in the Middle Ages. It is the most historically significant site in London, making it one of the city's paid attractions we always recommend. It has always been a fortress, but also a powder magazine, prison, royal palace, mint, and, still today, the treasury. The Tower of London is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Westminster Abbey
Westminster Abbey is the most famous religious building in London after St. Paul's Cathedral, as it is the site of the coronation and burial of the monarchs of England and more than three thousand important figures of the country. It is a church owned by the British monarchy and is located in the Westminster district of London, next to the Houses of Parliament. It was named this way to distinguish it from St. Mary of the Graces, which is located in Eastminster and is home to a Cistercian monastery. Today, Westminster Abbey is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and should not be confused with the nearby Catholic Westminster Cathedral, which was built more recently.
Trafalgar Square a Londra
Trafalgar Square in London is a famous public square in central London. It is located in the City of Westminster, just south of Covent Garden and north of the River Thames. The square takes its name from the Battle of Trafalgar, a British naval victory over the French and Spanish in 1805 during the Napoleonic Wars. Today, Trafalgar Square is a popular tourist attraction, known for its historic monuments, fountains, and public events. The square is home to the famous Nelson's Column, a 52-meter-tall monument commemorating Admiral Horatio Nelson, who led the British fleet to victory at the Battle of Trafalgar. The square is also surrounded by other notable landmarks, such as the National Gallery, St. Martin-in-the-Fields Church, and Canada House.
